Vampire Pout

Some days I really find it hard to find something to wear and black is always my go to color. Every outfit always needs some interesting details which is why i went for black flats with a gold cap toe, one horizontal gold ring and chain gold hoops. Stripes will never go out of style, especially black and white ones and this vintage pander top is super comfy and I love the high neck line.Along with a cropped coat for structure I added some black high waisted pants and a BOLD deep red lipstick which gave that extra fall look to my cropped pants. I LOVE a good red lipstick, it always makes an outfit that much more interesting. For a perfect pout I like to outline my lips in a shade similar to the lipstick you want to apply to get a fuller lip effect and for my hair I just pinned it to one side and semi waved my bangs with a straightener. OHHH HEYY shorts in November! I think this might be the last post in bare legs. Thank goodness it just got cold this week, so when I wore this we had a low of 86... After being completely inspired by the gorgeous KARLA DERAS of karlascloset.com (my fashion crush) and the beautiful Rihanna took a chance and wore a bandeau. I had just gotten the cotton shorts for my birthday from a very special friend and I really wanted to show them off.  Since the shorts are informal I paired it with a formal  blazer for some balance just like wearing sweatpants with a pair of pointed toe pumps! I added some gold jewelry and tan accessories to finish off and i did nothing to my hair. HA excuse the mess. Actual Fall posts are next !

See Through Sweaters

I was feeling very earthy this past Monday so I decided to wear my trusted high waisted jeans and a tan bandeau under a comfy oversized crochet nude sweater I bought 2 sizes too big. I slipped on some brown cut-out flats and picked my brown hobo bag for school. I twisted my hair into a messy bun and I added a double braided elastic to make my hair looked a little more "done" and who doesn't love a little winged liner? This always works when you're in a hurry and want to look put together! Its still warm here in Houston which makes me sad because I've been bulking up my fall wardrobe. I'm excited to share some more posts !

Stripes in November

I'M BACK ! I'm more than happy to be back to blogging ! I've been so busy with school and work that I hadn't had time to take pictures and I'm sorry. I took these pictures last week and as you can see its still hot enough here in Texas to wear shorts. I was going to be late to school so I needed a quick and comfy outfit to run out in. I chose some mid- rise cotton shorts , a stretchy white tank, and a cotton denim- like vest. Tied my hair in a VERY messy bun, threw on a gold multiple chain necklace and slipped on my brown flats. Now, my favorite thing about this whole outfit is my backpack which was gifted to me last year and has my name engraved on the front , not to mention its a gorgeous tan color.  Theres many more posts to come including the one on my birthday !
